When fall arrives and I feel a cold snap in the air, I always get excited for snowboarding season. Although it will be months before enough snow accumulates at my favorite ski resort in the Midwest, I just can’t force myself to wait that long. That’s why I save up all of my vacation days until October – tourist season is over at most Colorado resorts, so I have free rein of those powdery slopes.
I made a sizeable investment in buying a new board last season, and so far it has served me well. Likewise, I’ve been using the same reliable boots and bindings for months. But I did recently go online seeking a pair of Bobster goggles that would keep my vision free of obstructions on the way down the mountain. The new goggles arrived just in time, and I can look forward to spending the next few weeks in snowboarding heaven.
